Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system (CNS) which consists of the brain, spinal cord, and optic nerves. Somehow the autoimmune system sees the myelin, which is the fatty insulation around the nerves, as a foreign body or enemy and begins to attack it.

On the behalf of Novartis Pond Helthcare Innovation has developed the app DaybyDay, which is specifically designed for people living with MS . The app works like a tool for patients to track their wellbeing. It has a diary function that makes it easy for the user to record their health status over time and also track the medication adherence. You can even find other people that uses the app and are living with MS and start discussions with them and even take contact with them. Do make it easier for patient in their dialouge with physians the app can create a PDF report of your healthstatus that can be sent before the visit.

As a complement to your personal health diary DayByDay also offers a digital dosett that gives the patient a simple overview of when to take your medications and even reminds you when it’s time to take them.
